Aurora Vet Clinic Celebrates 6 Year Anniversary: The American Dream Is Alive and Well

AURORA, CO – For the last 6 years, residents of southeast Aurora have been trusting Parkside Animal Health Center and Dr. Brenda Eisenhauer to keep their beloved pets as healthy and happy as possible. Since first opening their doors in August 2011, Parkside Animal Health Center, a locally owned veterinary clinic, has continued to grow by applying one simple principle: treat their patients the same way they would treat their own pets. This has lead to many milestones in the last several years. From being recognized as the best small business in Aurora Colorado, to constantly upgrading their facility with cutting edge equipment there are a lot of great things happening at this local vet clinic.

Parkside Animal Health Center has spent the past year as the holders of the Aurora Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business of the Year Award. The clinic was both honored to receive the award and excited to hand it off to another fantastic local business this year.

Parkside has not only focused their energy on providing exceptional care for Aurora clients but they also provide reduced cost veterinary care for various animal welfare groups within the community, including the Denver Dachshunds Rescue and Transport.

In addition to their being recognized by the Aurora Chamber of Commerce, they have also modernized the technology at the clinic. Recently, they purchased a Class IV laser to be used on patients. The laser treatments have greatly benefited animals suffering from pain and inflammation related to recent surgery or chronic arthritis. There is a long list of conditions that benefit from laser treatments. Additionally, they have introduced a popular online pharmacy to make getting your pet’s medications even easier. This has helped the small veterinary clinic stay competitive with larger pharmacies since they don’t have to carry as much in stock.

In just 6 short years, Parkside Animal Health Center has made great strides in terms of business and the welfare of Aurora pets. Dr. Brenda Eisenhauer and Parkside Animal Health Center are showing us that the dream of a small, successful local business that makes a positive impact in the community is alive and well.
